Newton always has his nose to the ground sniffing and tracking the critters that go through our yard, so bumping into a tree isn’t inconceivable, but I’ve never seen it happen.

I thought dogs could see well at night. Does Rover have CATaracts?

That would be a bad thing. Trees hurt.

He doesn’t like the darkness!

Rover is a smart pup! He’s taking care of his well-being!

Dogs do see a bit better than humans at night… It’s the cats that are the ‘night stalkers’…

Ir Rover has to move – really move – he’ll beg that tree not to come round here, anymore!

That’s IF Rover has to move….

Couldn’t smell it?……

Both Rover and the tree have bark.

Rover ….. Take your time …… wouldn’t want you to run into a tree again ….. make sure you pay attention to the direction your going …… :)

Or it might be raining and then I’ll just hold it until dawn!
