These two really don’t know anythingIt is really true what they say “the wise person speaks when he has something wise to say, the ignorant person only speaks because he can”.
Is the implication here that Elly’s working will result in Liz getting into trouble by joining the wrong crowd? Because it looks like that’s where this arc is going.
Even though I dislike Elly, I think that kind of attitude is all wrong. i
I imagine his idea of an “easy to fix” is have friends over to share a joint or beer-while the cat is away the teens will play. Unless day care is subsidized by the Canadian government it likely cost more than she earns at the bookstore.
I think our kids did fine in daycare. We had our first while in a college town and a lot of the staff were college students in the early childhood edu. program. And we as new parents learned too. the first parent teacher meeting we were informed our child was developing nicely but was a little behind the curve in language development. We were asked if we talked to our child. I replied “not really, she doen’t have much to say.” We saw the error of our ways. Learned about positive instruction as opposed to negative. Instead of "Don’t go in the street, It was "keep your feet on the sidewalk. Daycare can be a positive experience
Question: I have a friend who was told one of her tires was bulging and another was almost bald (she bought new 4 tires from dealer in 2021 for $1,100). She went back to dealer and was told she had not bought them there-none of them matched, by the way (she had the receipt and it was on their record). Now she tells me another friend of hers, living in another town, had the same thing happen to her. Is this the latest scam on single women? What else can be done besides taking a man with us and/or ourselves checking that tires match the receipt before we leave the premises?

Panel 1: Do a google image search of “Salem’s Lot vampire” and you’ll see something that looks a lot like Anthony.

“Don’t go home.” That’s horrible advice and just asking for trouble.

Being really really shy as a kid, I loved coming home to an empty house and not having to worry about what I doing. Got over being shy.

Miss Princess still hasn’t figured out how to make herself lunch. I was making my lunches when I was a lot younger than Elizabeth!

Careful Elizabeth; stay the course. In the spirit of today, don’t let yourself get Pearl Harbored.
