I dispute Charlie’s preface. He’s able to pull together the neighborhood baseball team every year. True, his coaching leaves much to be desired but he gives it his all. And his worst enemy is his shrink.
I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember starting back when I was little in the 60s. Maybe I’ve stuck with it so long because I relate so well to Charlie Brown.

Chuck, don’t give up, you have so much pain from life’s disappointments, you could write a great self-help book, with Lucy’s help of course.

I think Lucy’s advice is Charlie Brown’s worst enemy because she has a habit of demeaning him… and everyone else.

I guess I don’t get around much anymore. When did Lucy double her price for psychiatric care to ten cents?
