I remember over on the original strip how some posters conjectured that G&K wanted to have Aaron Hill come out as gay. That would have been an interesting twist but it never happened after the blow back from Lynne Johnston’s strip and her decision to make one of MIke’s friend to be gay, (IMHO, she should have chose Blahnthony (and his 1985 porn mustache) instead of Lawrence, but such is life). G&K decided in the end to have Aaron involved with a girl in Hawaii but then cane Quill….. In the future: as a drama major does he surprise Luann in the future in a way she never imagined???? It would beat an arc of Luann arguing with Bern or Gunther being a Mamma’s boy for the thousandth time….. The strip is becoming stale…..
