Raise your hand if you are enjoying this week’s arc. That’s what I thought.

I baby sat some as a pre-teen and a teen. One kid was so obnoxious that I didn’t want to sit him any longer but the parents paid well. He pulled that, I don’t have to do what you say thing on me. I talked to his parents about it. The next time I sat him, his folks warned him that, yes, he did in fact have to do what I said or that I did have the privilege of paddling his backside. Naturally, he tested me and I paddled him, with 3 or 4 light whacks with a ping pong paddle. The way he carried on you’d have thought I was butchering him alive.

I told his parents when they got home. They paid me extra. But after that I didn’t sit for them any more. I was unwilling to take on that much of a parental role as a 13 year old.

Remember Luann, double time.
