Answer: It’s because YOU want him, Luann.

Why the Spam hate? Well, here’s the next 2 minutes of your life reading about it. Most of the US hates Spam because of 2 reasons; first it is connected to being poor and on government handouts “Spam and government cheese”. Second, military servicemen ate Spam repeatedly during WWII as a result of there not being other options for easily preserved food for the journey across the Pacific. Inversely Spam became very sought after and enjoyed in Hawaii and Guam because sailors would trade Spam for fresh fruits and vegetables with the locals when in port. That is why Spam is consumed 4 times as much in Hawaii as it is on the mainland, and 4 times as much on Guam as it is in Hawaii.

It’s oddly comforting to know that neither of them end up with Aaron.

When I was little, my mother bought Spam for our sandwiches. I guess I liked it, I got used to it. Then she began to fry it to have with eggs. I loved it then but found it to be too salty. Then I read the label and decided I never wanted it again. When I got online and found out that spam was what they called useless junk email, I had to laugh, it was a perfect description!

Give it up. First liar don’t have a chance.

I like spam, but don’t eat it often.

All of the Spam know-it-alls here should take a road trip to Austin, Minnesota and visit the Spam Museum. You wouldn’t think so, but it’s a great museum and one can spend hours in there and not get bored. Austin is a great town, and on the way there you can make a quick stop in Blue Earth and visit the Jolly Green Giant.

Face it: We’re all here for the drama.

Luann asked Tiffany a very legitimate (and uncomfortable) question that Tiffany refused to answer.

Hmmm… since Aaron eventually moves to Hawaii (spoiler) maybe he really does love spam. I wonder whether this was an unconscious hint about his future relocation?

Starts with your father. Dad was in CBI theater and if you didn’t want to pick up a horrible disease, you NEVER ate off base. Which ment a LOT of Spam. Which ment when they finally got home, Spam and SOS were NOT on your menu.

As it turns out Tiffany wasn’t wrong about Aaron’s feelings for Luann. It just took 20 years for that ship to sail for Luann.
