More often these “energy lulls” are caused by poor diet and bad sleep discipline. We were never allowed excuses for “lazy”. Life doesn’t stop because you feel like a nap on the highway.
A lot of people work 2nd shift, and it’s because that is what they feel comfortable with. I love 2nd shift. I’ve always wondered why there aren’t schools willing to do 1st and 2nd shift…not enough teachers?
Teens are chronically sleep deprived. They need rest as much as babies do. The difference is that parents don’t hammer on an infant’s door first thing in the morning and accuse them of being lazy.

How is this a natural cycle? What time zone is the 2-noon cycle? Seems like you could adjust the cycle so that it ends in time to get ready to go.
