This sure isn’t the house I grew up in. I had to help my mother with the housework in spite of having 2 older brothers, they never had to do anything because they were male. They only had to take turns doing weekly jobs like taking out the trash, a 5-minute job and they had to be nagged to do it, or mowing the lawn which is seasonal, and only every other week since there were 2 of them. And I was expected to help them. My mother thought the dishes would revolt and break if male hands washed them. Luann is pretty lucky.
