If he feels this way about being called a father figure, I wonder how he will feel when in the future he hears a little bear say hello grandpa!

When I got married (late in life), some acquaintance gushed about me being a “daddy”. I pointed out that my wife’s kids were legal adults and I had no intention of adopting them.

Being a Father is one of the best things that ever happened to me in my life.

Children will do that to you. Whether your own or someone else’s. You flash back to your own childhood all the while regretting how the years have stacked up since.

I think the same thing, when I realize how old I really am…74. But other than a few aches and pains, appearance wise, no one thinks I’m anywhere near that old because I don’t act it.

I love the grandfather aspect: lots of spoiling and little responsibility.

Face it, Gunther. You are the Father in the Grizzwelll Family, and you’re not a cub anymore!
