In Utah, you can dial 611, and a nice white truck will come out and give you enough gas to get to the nearest gas station. They’ll also change your tire, replace your fan belt, and lots of other little tasks.

I’ve had a situation, got something from Walmart then McDonalds from loose bills in my pocket. Went for gas, filled, about $25 in my small car. Found out I didn’t have my wallet. Medium size town though they didn’t know me…resolution was that I had it on the floor of the bathroom, fell out of my back pocket when i dropped my shorts

GAH!! If brain was electricity, Brad and TJ wouldn’t have enough voltage between them to light up one of those fancy light-up LEGO bricks!

80 bucks to bring 40 bucks work of gas.

Dumb and Dumber came out in 1994 and TJ first appeared in Luann a year before. I wonder if antics from the film had an influence on Greg when he developed a story line? I doubt TJ had an influence on the Dumb and Dumber characters as that script was probably hatched before TJ showed up but there are similarities.

Has anyone in the history of the Luann strip ever had a successful road trip?
