“Millionaires,” from a mere million bucks?

    Nah, Frank.

Uncle Sugar will take at 37 percent of that. Then later, come back for a share of the interest on what’s left until it’s all gone.

Then there’s your state governor’s cut.

    And the city father’s taste.

Underage Brad did you a favor. ;-)

A bit of BS here. Brad and TJ still have the money from their previous wins (over $100 IIRC), so they don’t need money wired to get home. Also, while Brad is pathetic, had the casino threatened to press charges TJ seems smart enough to point out the bad publicity the casino would receive after their big “Million Dollar Winner” splash it was disclosed that they weaseled out of paying.

Excuse me but had Brad been of age it would be his million, not yours, Frank!

I am really surprised that Smiley never ended up in San Quentin and ended up having Brad as a cellmate.

I thought the age of majority, and therefore the age when the boys could receive their winnings, was 18. If that’s right, and they would have had to have Brad four years earlier for him to collect the money, that means that he’s 14. Does any state allow people to drive at that age?

(Btw, I looked it up, and only three states have a higher age of majority, and Nevada isn’t one of them.)

We can assume they had spent the money from the first two wins on food. It would be like TJ to insist they go to a fancy restaurant before they hit the casino.

What happened to the $200 they DID take away from winning two slot machines before they were caught?

The casino isn’t going to report it because they allowed an underage person to gamble in their casino.

Google “kirk erickson” and “caesars place” to read the real-life story of a 19 year-old in Vegas with his parents and he won $1.061,812 on a slot machine.

In 1996 dollars that is a Million, in 2024 it is somewhere near $1.34.
