When it comes to Diane and Luann, Brad and Gunther only exist to provide entertainment, distraction and help, and only on the girls’ terms… nothing more.
It looked to me like Dianne invited both the Degroot kids and Brad seemed to assume it was a date, making unkind comments to Luann, so they had fun putting him in his place. It wasn’t fair to Gunther though
