There is no hiding of toilet paper when it comes to a cat in the house. Pad-lock is the only secure way of protecting it. At times it has an artist look to it when the attack and kill the roll is complete. I don’t know whether to laugh, snicker or scold. A little bit of all.
There is a small in-joke here. I’ve done many things in the art world and only failed completely at one of them. To this day, I can’t make a paper snowflake; it winds up as a scattering of small pieces, even if someone else folds the paper for me.
According to Plato, art is false knowledge of reality. An artist’s imitation can deceive common people, not the philosopher, who knows the essence of reality or the real being of things.
I remember reading in my college text book that he claimed that a simple person might see a painting of a chair, for instance, and try to sit on it, falling to the floor and injuring himself. I guess that’s why art was so scarce, only for the wealthy for so long ;)
I lost a small ball of yarn after knitting a sweater. The next day when I got home from work, the 5 kitties had found it and wrapped it all around everything in the house. After I finished laughing and feeding them I rerolled the ball and hid it again. The next day, same results. Friend came over and said there is a way to keep them from unraveling that, and she tied the end to another part of the ball. The cats never touched it again. I was angry. We were having so much fun with that ball of yarn!

Monroe has been leaving the TP alone for a change. He might not feel well. That or he prefers chasing Bear’s fluffy tail.

So that’s what it is, creativity for critters, using the ‘media’ at hand.

This could be interesting. I’m not sure Floof’s creation will have quite the quality of Kate’s.
