The only thing that bothers me about him is that he got elected. THAT kind of idiocy among the voters is scary indeed.

Keep America indivisible! Vote for team players who put country first — not their party or themselves.

Once again, define fraud – Santos. Define bait and switch – Santos. A question for congress – why did it take so long? Just looking at the lies in his resume, it was obvious that the voters were had.

Santos election is proof that we need a robust press. Instead, local news outlets are dying at an alarming (and increasing) rate.

Unfortunately, this shows that Repubs don’t get ethical except when the miscreant is very low on the totem pole. Let him get one term in him or be elected President, and anything goes.

Saw a commentator on tv asking how did GS find the time to do all that stuff he lied about…

The GOP better hurry. 2024 is coming and they don’t want this guy hanging around their neck.

You’re jumping the gun on this. Never underestimate the corruption of Congress.

He’s still being defended by his fellow Republicans.

I would not count on it. The GOP has an eight-seat margin in the House; R-221 D-213 Vacant-1. If Santos is expelled, it margin goes to six (Dems +1, Repubs -1). If the vacancy goes to a Dem, the margin drops to five. The red side of the House has demonstrated it will do ANYTHING to keep the majority, including keeping Santos. He’s most likely there for the duration.

Not quite understanding this. He even committed the carnal sin of being a drag queen and was never ousted. He must have stolen something from someone in the gop that thinks they are important. Stealing from your own campaign donations to live a lavish lifestyle is normal operation for the extremist right wing politicians these days

I get the feeling that somewhere along the process he will say something like " I meant to do that. " or " I firmly believe it was the right thing to do. " " Like my festive red bow tie? "
