Ah, the ol’ escape manhole. A classic.

I grew up watching 1930’s adventure serials (a staple of 60’s TV) so I assumed this would be the outcome.

Yup, Rip and it will be, “The Night Ole’ TNT went down the Sewer Christmas Drain!!!”

It’s either a manhole, or an Acme escape hole.

Who puts a sewer in the woods? Asking for a friend.

Put another way, who lays pipe in the woods? Also asking for a friend.

STAY OUT OF THE SEWER! YETI HEADQUARTERS DOWN THERE! (TRACY readers will get this)

The correct term is ‘maintenance hole’.

And maybe Michelangelo and company have saved Noel already.

Up on the pavement what d’ya see? Rip and good ol’ TNT. Down through the manhole quick, quick, quick. To save Noel with good ol’ Rip.

I think he looks less like Scrooge and more like the tentacle-alien worshiping priest or Farmer Brown from the Superman cartoon series.

There’s still hope!!!

I’m sure Rip could easily deal with any sewer alligator they come across.

I thought sewer gators went to Florida for the winter.

There are no alligators in the sewers. The giant rats ate them all.
