Peter Tchaikovsky is not amused about a fellow LGBTQ. At least his music remains immortal.

Unfortunately, I can understand the “Republican” Speaker’s concern about establishing a legal precedent  for expelling the corrupt/criminal from public office.

Judging by the number of nuts in Congress i’d say the nutcracker needs some work!

They’re not going to toss Santos. They’re all aware of what scum he is—but he’s a repub, which means one more vote and he could dance naked across the floor of the house and his cohorts might blush—but they won’t turn him!

They need to crack more nuts than this one. The rest of the far right nut jobs are just as bad as this guy, if not worse.

This is how corrupt you have to be before the Republican Party draws a line. The bar should be higher. At present, Santos is their standard.

I can understand why Mr. Johnson might have reservations, besides the obvious one about losing a Republican vote. There’s also the precedent about removing a member without a guilty verdict. And it doesn’t seem that Mr. Menendez is getting the same pressure, although I would think that he should.

It does make me wonder how Mr. Johnson and the rest of the flock can justify impeachment hearings and let’s-get-Hunter hearings without proof or evidence, if he’s that concerned.

Santos is the poster child for a typical Republican.

Well, apparently they DID toss Santos. I think the problem was that Johnson told them to “vote your conscience” and they were so confused they ended up kicking him out.
