I want to misunderstand it whole-heartily

Think I’ll make one after lunch.

When I was a kid I had never heard of carrot cake, let alone had any. One day in the school lunch room a friend offered me some and I thought the idea of a cake made with carrots was gross. She said “It’s good!” so I agreed to try some. Thus began a lifelong love affair. It’s really the cream cheese frosting that does it. Yum!

Carrots are a sweet veg.

So is fruitcake

Oh, I understand it perfectly! I love carrot cake as long as it’s raisin-free.

I must make one. They’re quite tasty.

It ain’t cake if not chocolate.

If done right it can be good.

If it has sugar in it……it is great!!!!!!

I always have loved carrot cake. It sounds so healthy, too.

I can do without it but I know it’s a fave for many.

Aunty, that’s not carrot cake, that’s rum cake, you know that, I know that, the whole world knows that.

It IS a vegetable…

The cake is there just to hold the cream frosting.

Carrot cake is a vegetable. So is zucchini bread.

I don’t understand, you eating something sorta healthy.

Totally agree. They’re my favourite kind of cake

So is fruit cake. Especially with butter
