In regard to a sense of four boating: Could you get by with three boating? (Or doesn’t that make enough cents?) How about five boating? (Does that smell right? Does that make too much scents?)
I’m trying to imagine how a vocabulary test would work. Is it along the lines of “Fill in this blank with a word that fits the sentence.”? Or maybe “What’s a synonym for ‘uncertain’?”? Or even possibly “List all the words we had you memorize for this test.”?

The sad part is that this is somewhat accurate to how some people actually communicate….“I would of” being a prime example.

Actually, “proverbly” would be a good word, snappier than proverbially.

Four boating? Would that be three men in a boat plus the dog?

I have a sense of “pre-voting”, but it’s only ’cause I turned on the news channel this morning. It was an accident. And leaving it on was… a mistake.

Kid doesn’t even know “probably”? What a rare level of ignorance for this comic.
