Fritzi talking to the babysitter has to be my favorite reoccurring joke. This one is the best yet.
She broke through the fourth wall.
Whenever Nancy hears the ‘D’ sound, she doesn’t concern herself with the the rest of the actual word resulting from this sound. When she hears the ‘D’ sound, her brain registers this sound is going to result in the utterance of the word ‘Dessert.’
