This idea of Santa as Big Brother didn’t bother me when I was a kid. But as a supposed-adult I find the idea of Santa constantly watching everyone creepy.

Of course, I’m not crazy. I still want him to bring me presents.

Santa is a peeping tom!

Well, Mortimer moved away from him, but still looks happy, so…

The third panel reminds me of the Calvin and Hobbes cartoon where Calvin is listening to “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and he hears that line and says “Santa Claus: Kindly old elf or CIA spook?”

Before you answer whether or not you’ve been good this year and remember, anything you say may be used against you in a court of law…

If the cops had Santa Claus working for them, he’d end up shooting the kids instead of giving them presents. He’d have the best excuse too, he’d just have to say he knew they were bad, because he’s Santa and that’s what he does all day

It’s a pretty creepy concept alright.
