The answer is that kids brains are empty and we responsible adults gotta fill it with all our biased answers so as to reflect the zeitgeist of the current inane thoughts…
When I taught I often asked students why there is a general unwillingness to ask questions in a classroom setting. I asked my students if it was because we as a society are in general dismissive of “so many” questions. I suspect that that is a part of it, and that’s a shame.
