You have to be careful about what you let go of in order to embrace something new. Sometimes it’s best to retain old knowledge even while learning the new.

Comprehending, common sense comes into play…deciding if its real or conspiracy theory

I don’t have the patience for Google and finding an appropriate link on page 3 after all the irrelevant sponsored links.

Case in point. Trivia is easy to google and will not be remembered four minutes later.

I knew a lady who retained her knowledge of machine language while learning FORTRAN 4.

Specialists: A person who knows less about all the knowledge and more and more, about specific things so eventually they know everything about nothing.

Generalist: A person who knows more and more about everything and less about specific things, so eventually they know nothing about everything.
