Plot twist: The cookies are in the presents, and the gifts are in the jar.

Several years ago i came downstairs with an armload of gifts. My wife looked at me and asked “More presents for the tree?” and suddenly i understood that ’here’s you sign’ guy. I looked at her and said “No I just thought in this holiday season i would make the garbage collector’s job a little more festive” and without missing a beat went into the garage with the parcels.
