Try honesty. “I just don’t care enough.”

There’s always the: “I studied the wrong section” explanation.

And a short list it is.

The teacher, evidently, isn’t a very good teacher either.

Their response to a failing student is to send them to the principal for punishment.

“At tried I least”?

“I least at tried”?

“I at tried least”?

“Tried least I at”?

“Tried at I least”?

It’s the least you could do.

Agnes has extraordinary verbal facility for a kid her age. For whatever reason, that doesn’t translate to academic success.

She didn’t even spell her name right.

I went to a parochial school at Agnes’ age. Enough bad tests would get you an interview with the head nun. Yikes!

No worries, she can graduate without a diploma and get a participation trophy
