I think it’s stupid that marijuana is illegal but tobacco is not. They should both be legal. And they should both be avoided by sane people because of what they do to your lungs.

I don’t recall ever seeing Mrs Olsen smoking or giving it up. Is it my memory?

What’s that fence for?

This brings back two memories: 1) 1984: I took the Greyhound bus 200 miles home from college, sitting one row ahead of the smoking section, and was as green as Herman Munster when I arrived; 2) 2009: visiting Ireland, I was wondering about these people standing outside scrunched in the rain, and finally realized it was the smoking ban.

Weird

Just pointing out the lengths some will go to in order to enjoy a few minutes of ‘skating the edge.’

Me, too. Amazing what addiction will make you do. What else is weird is that I tried to quit many times, but when I finally did, it was easy.

I was on the edge of my seat right up until the end of her narrative.

I always found it humorous when someone says “I’m going out to get some air” then light up.

Now, that my husband is smoking less, the neighbors miss seeing him sitting on the front porch because his being there so often seems to have been a deterrent to people breaking into cars on our street. No one is suggesting he return to smoking more.

There are better ways to lose your breath – like laughing so hard (you lose your breath.)

Whether it’s tobacco or marijuana, is inhaling any smoke a good idea?

When you have that habit, like I did once, you’ll find any way to get in a few drags in!!!
