If anyone is interested in just a little tidbit about the movie – when the watch comes off and Hans is beginning to fall, in order to get that genuine look of panic, Alan Rickman was told they would drop him on the count of 3. They dropped him on 1 instead.

funny. but since I’ve never watched die hard (and never will) I needed the explanation

And here I am, thinking it was an old movie about Hans Brinker.

Hans who? Hans Christian Andersen? Let’s be more specific here! It sure ain’t me.

But seriously, Bruce Willis and Harrison Ford were my favorite wise-cracking action heroes in my younger days. Much more enjoyable than the current crop. But I still don’t consider that one a Christmas movie.
