A General Election year and a Leap Year. What could possibly go wrong?

It only hurts when I laugh!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much cynicism at the start of a New Year.

It’s a presidential election year here in the US. It’s going to be more like a Stephen King novel. Maybe one based on an idea by Carl Hiaasen.

I’m rather bewildered by the way life has turned out here in the U.S. All the values I learned growing up in the fifties and sixties have been replaced by absurd behavior and complete apathy to what is right and to what is wrong. I do not understand why people act the way they do, or what their thought processes are. Furthermore, our government is mired down in an “Us against Them” ideology in which anything goes….no matter what. The only solace I seem to have is when I remember those inspiring words by the great philosopher A. E. Newman…..“What me worry?” Happy New Year Everyone!

Other than the election, it should be a great year. We’re going in with a strong economy, that means your year is more in your own hands than it has been for a long time. Make great choices and have a great 2024 everyone. I am looking forward to it! (just not the election stuff).

It’s going to be a historically good year or a historically bad one.

No, he’s supposed to come on midnight of the 1st, not midnight on Dec. 31st.

If have not noticed every election year is a leap year. one more day to sell us BS>
