Stiff upper lip and assume the posture of ‘Who, me? Scared, of course not!’

Oh, Shawm, we still love you.

You’ll be back to normal — and dignified — by the time you get home. At which point, the family will remind you of the “event” while they tell Floof all about it.

Aww Shawm, it’s okay! They’re a lot of dogs and people who can’t handle shots. Your dignity will return. Love the little girls saying in the first panel. Nancyb, what is her name?

By which I gather that you lost control of your bladder, and possibly your bowels.

Focus on the treat, Shawm. Focus on the treat! (incidentally, the treat is a snail in a wad of gum)

Sirius looks worried about his Dad. Glad Shawm appears soon after. Hope the family gives Shawm some loving to help make him feel better.

    Poor baby! :D

Buddy is a problem for the opposite reason. He’s trying to get the vet-techs to play with him while they are trying to poke him.

Nancy, do you ever talk to your characters like they are real people?

During one of the visits to the vet, it was taking an unusually long time for the vaccinations to be completed. One of the vet techs checked in with me and apologized; they were having trouble administering the shots because my dog was “too wiggly”. He wasn’t scared, he was trying to evenly dispense kisses to all the techs!
