I want to know why camping gear cost more that furnishing a home? It is basically what you are transporting to a camp site. Bedding, cook equipment, comfortable place to sit, a roof over your head, food, storage for the food, etc. But all of it is quite expensive! You are just better off saving the money and staying home!
