I got a 3-1/2 ft white fake tree after xmas 15 years ago for $5! It lives in a garbage baq fully decorated and ready to set up each year.

Besides…it would erase all the potential Christmas tree gags on Drabble in November and December…

I think using a fake tree is so much better than a real one. You don’t have to go out in the cold to some tree lot to find the “perfect” tree and lug it home. It’s quite expensive too. A fake one just has to be stored in the attic or garage and brought in and set up every year. It’s not hard to do. Decorating it is the most fun part, I wouldn’t leave the decorations on since you may want to rearrange them and add new ones. We have always had a fake tree all my life and it just works better.

I was hard core anti-fake tree, until I got one a bit late in life.

We got a fake tree couple of decades ago because of our allergy problems.

Not to be too preachy, but I’ve had the same little fake tree for many years and every year, when I take it out at Christmas time, I’m content to have saved a live one. And it’s a lot easier and cleaner. I can always buy pine spray to make it smell more natural! So I say, buy it!

I saw a house in my town that burned down because the real tree caught on fire. I bought my first artificial tree and never looked back.

Just as well. Him and his idiot son would end up setting it up upside down

They don’t mind paying $160 or more for a real tree? I would have bought a fake tree in early December, after I saw the price of real trees.

We bought a “fake Christmas tree” many years ago. No regrets. ’nuff said.

Me too, a garbage bag covers it well, it takes up very little room in the garage. All I need do is take the bag off and plug in the lights. Mine however is green.
