We actually learned two sets of cursive letters: capital and lowercase. And we practiced writing them on special double lined paper so we could make them the right size relative to each other.
Cursive writing is still the best when you have to make notes “in the field” on paper that may not be perfectly flat, because the pen continuously presses it down as you write.
This morning, my wife asked me to fill out some Christmas cards for the Grandkids, but she wold me to print the messages because the Grandkids can’t read cursive.
