Don’t think Mr. Dear is looking upon that as a positive, Fred. Don’t think he is going to be popular at home, either.

Mr. Dear needs to learn to enjoy the experience. Don’t worry if he catches anything. He can simply go to the market and buy a fish.

I might have liked the bicycle frame. If it was the right size, I might have been tempted to risk the ire of my local bike shop by squandering money on having it made whole. Laugh if you want but Darwin, the wagon in my sig, was made whole that way, and I’m in the process of doing the same thing with a 1972 Buick Skylark.

My dad was a tinkerer and always taking on projects. He could have taken that bike frame and turned it into a working bike in less than a week.

I thought fishing was supposed to be relaxing. He might as well have been golfing.
