I might have liked the bicycle frame. If it was the right size, I might have been tempted to risk the ire of my local bike shop by squandering money on having it made whole. Laugh if you want but Darwin, the wagon in my sig, was made whole that way, and I’m in the process of doing the same thing with a 1972 Buick Skylark.

My dad was a tinkerer and always taking on projects. He could have taken that bike frame and turned it into a working bike in less than a week.
