I studied school law (but I’m not a lawyer) and was told that before the early 70s you couldn’t sue a government entity. I see the benefits both ways but there have been some really expensive judgements against schools which in the end hurts all of the students by taking money from education funding. (We now return you to less serious comments…)
At least they’re dressed (sorta) properly. I had a student who wore flip-flops to school in January — we had a fire drill and she nearly got frostbitten toes. (don’t get me started on parental responsibilities)
