Hmm, I never heard of the song or the artist until this strip, but I never saw the movie either. I was curious so I watched a few seconds of the video and that was enough.

Like Perry Mason said to one of his clients who had just been arrested for murder where the penalty was the gas chamber, “Rest and get some sleep and we’ll clear this up in the morning.”
