I figured out his tactics and interests and was able to engage him on his level. I was asked back several times to babysit him and his sister.
Wanda speaks of “them”, implying her children, when she means “her” or “him” (the babysitter). The joke would have scanned better if she’d simply said “I wish I could relax and stop worrying.”(Yeah, I know. Picky, picky, picky.)

I baby sat as a pre-teen and teen. Some kids were great to sit and others were little terrors. I never again baby sat the tiny terrors.
