I told you guys weeks ago that goaler’s nickname was “Five Hole.” They went from using a mini-puck to a harder to see white puck resembling a snowball. Oops, there goes her heartstrings. And, did they cover the basketball floor with ice? WTF is that random line on the left side of the net?

I hope their idea is to have the goalie use one of those special sticks they make for goalies. At least for starters.

My son in law showed me a hockey move that involved chopping the puck up off the ice, then hitting it with the shaft of the hockey stick, similar to the move we used playing stick ball with the old pink high bouncer.

I don’t know if I’d blame the goalie on that one. I mean, that shot was so hard that it broke through the P2 border. The goalie couldn’t see it until it was right there. And speaking of seeing, if you’re looking forward to seeing today’s Mopped Up Thorp, you’re in luck. It’s ready.

I knew Harry might have had one Bud too many in the broadcast booth, but he still usually announced the winning team’s score first. And Jami Thorp is like Steve’s cigar smoke, what we’d give to see both disappear.
