Great, me also. I’ll just pop a Pizza in the microwave. Dinner in 3 minutes. Wash up. Yummy yummy, look out tummy. Or we can order take out. Or we can go out to eat. Your choice Brutus Honey Bee.

Time for Gladys to either delegate some chores or spread them out so they’re not being done in one day.

That 2 hour nap and 2 hour gab fest with the witch really cuts into productive time.

there’s always that one more thing that’s needing to be done… boy am I dreading going grocery shopping today, cause work will be piling sky high when I get back home, with more adding to it after dinner. :L

A woman’s work is never done. That’s why God invented Pizza. Some of those frozen ones are actually pretty good. A little salad, a glass of beer or wine. Ice cream and leftover Christmas cookies and you got a feast…..

Once again his timely is impeccably bad.

One of the reasons Brutus is the Born Loser is that he has really lousy timing.

Gladys must me an incredibly slow worker. I figure 3.5 hours would about cover it. Leaving her plenty of time for lunching and soap opering.

The only thing she’ll make for dinner is reservations

We (usually I) only do fresh cooking on weekends, making plenty to reheat on weeknights. Tonight it’s BBQ beef we did in the slow cooker the Sunday before last (I put the roast in there to thaw on Saturday; she unwrapped it, poured the sauce on it, and pushed the buttons). Thinking roast pork from last fall tomorrow night (after a slice of last Sunday’s meatloaf for lunch – she does the best meatloaf), last month’s baked chicken legs then summer-grilled brats on Thursday. Do almost always do takeaway on Friday. Saturday she’ll get fresh fish for me and a microwave dinner for herself; chicken gumbo on Sunday.

Brutus should not run in the door asking for dinner. My ex used to wake up on Sunday mornings, my only day off, and ask me what was for dinner. After a while of hearing that, I said it would be whatever he decided to cook. It at least made him wait until I was up and moving before he asked.
