So am I to assume pigs taste real good?

Humans have about 10,000 taste buds. Virtually all of these taste buds like ham and bacon.

I have a deep fryer for french fries, probably a gallon of Frites By Idaho and it’s free. I was going to throw it away!

That’s an interesting factoid about pigs. The other two sound rather disgusting.

Is 15,000 taste buds a lot or very little in comparison to humans or other species? Again, these factoids are meaningless if not put in perspective.

That whole pig taste bud statistic is meaningless without context. Something like comparing it to humans who average 10,000 taste buds.

Catfish typically have more than 100,000 taste buds. Some large catfish can have as many as 175,000. That’s because this creature has taste buds not only in its mouth, but all over its body.

If you wanted to make me do a research how many taste buds people have, you got it. But why didn’t you include that next to the number of how many taste buds pigs have?
