Spud just needed a little validation there, is all. Wouldn’t surprise me if being not actually real but a figment of someone else’s imagination is one of his many fears in life.
Wait, what if instead of fighting Gary, these two become friends? Gary and Carl become friends and go off on their own adventures just like Wallace and Spud, Spud will be rid of Gary, and Wallace can be content knowing that his pal isn’t alone anymore.
So is Carl a straight up anthropomorphic lion or some sort of wolf-lion-man? Because his snoot is long and his ears aren’t lion ears. He’s like a lion with a wolf face.

The dots around Spud’s name. Very evocative of Carl’s opinion.

If I could have a protector like Carl, I even learn how to prepare Haggis……. Now where can I get a sheep?

Spud, you were the one who begged Wallace to summon Carl – don’t go and get all realist on us now that he’s here.

Oh no I just had a terrible thought, , Haggis! …. … Gary will offer Carl a Haggis sandwich! Then they will go down to the Pub for a Pint.

So Wallace is now asking his imaginary friend to deny reality!

They’re in the school cafeteria, right? (see Jan. 19 and 20). I wonder if the setting will enter into this story at all… hmm …

Dude, Spud, Wallace would never say that about Gary, c’mon man!

Hmm, so Carl knows about Spud…_from where?_
wordsmeet 11 months ago
So Carl won’t need his hatchet to defeat Gary? The game is afoot. Well, in Gary’s case, a big foot.
wordsmeet 11 months ago
I’d rather Carl used a scimitar to slice. Much faster, heh.
