Those metaphors are very badly mixed. Try stirring them again.

These mixed metaphors were funnier than lipstick on a pig.

This is as funny as the day is long. Remember, i before e, except after the fall. A penny saved is hard to find. Don’t cross the bridge with a horse of a different color.

My favorite: “it’s as plain as the egg on your face”; runner up “…sliced spam.”
