I feel bad for Hammy. He has fire in his belly and that hurts. But Verne is in bad shape.

I’d hate to see what happens when he eats ghost peppers.

Our favorite Thai place defaults to “Mild”. Paul and Nancy (owners) realized most people were not into getting their faces burned off. but if you like that they can make it happen. They’ve been voted the best Thai in Portland metro.

Verne walked right into that one.

Used to go to a great Thai place that grew their own herbs. Two of my lunch mates once ordered the 5 star and they were both red faced, sweating and crying while they ate. I always went for the Medium – that was enough to burn my tongue.

Reminds me of a Don Martin cartoon regarding garlic soup.

Totally different topic, but the same thought process. Someone came up with a pain reliever that is something like a thousand times more potent then fentanyl. Again, why ?
