I always say that toys we buy, trips we take them on, things we do for them, are a waste of money and time on children in that age of infantile amnesia… Its like losing a piece of your childhood memories!
I’ve seen pictures of myself at six. I can remember (maybe) the details around the photo itself, but to detail the entire day? It’s gone. Example: Those of us who lived thru, say, May 3, 1973, how many can remember that day by instant recall? Some do, to be sure; but not most alive even then. It came; it went, an there it is. A blip in Eternity…
