Texting doesn’t work for me. I check it every day or so. The only thing I use text for is to get the authentication codes to log into various accounts. That’s pretty much the entire reason I have a phone.
Absolutely agree! How a person perceives a message depends on their own mood of which the sender is often un aware. Too many people are unable to grant the sender any slack in that regard.

I actually communicate better through text. That’s probably only because of my social anxiety though.

I didn’t think I would like texting; it is great for most needs to communicate with friends – if a subject requires talking, we schedule a time.

Texting is for most lazy AS* people who cannot spell anyway.

Texting takes me too long because of hitting the wrong letter so often and I will not ignore wrong spelling. Those buttons are just too small.

Texting, gods gift to the lazy and the socially inept.

Auto-complete and autocorrect can totally obscure the intent of a text.

In a lot of circumstances this is very true.
