Contingency cases are usually civil suites. (With those personal injury lawyers advertising on TV, your case better be slam-dunk or they won’t look at you.) For criminal cases (unless it’s legal aid pro bono) lawyers want at least part of their money up front.

The good news for MAGA-Ts is after his next trial, the Reality Show Con Artist will stop asking them for money to pay his legal bills.

The bad news is he will ask the rubes to serve a year of his prison term.

You get what you pay for. Alina Habba was almost jailed for her actions in the E. Jean Carroll case. Her attorney skills were noted as particularly deficient, her defense riddled with mistakes.

Read somewhere that Hanna is a credible business lawyer, ie contracts, merger agreements etc, but has little trial experience in civil or criminal cases. OTOH, every time a new need for a lawyer pops up, I envision t-rump cruising town and getting attorney phone #s from bus bench adverts…

The lawyer is getting ready for his own trial, later.

My guess is he’ll stiff Habba the Nut.

He’s expecting to take the money from the suckers (Maga) contributions. Doesn’t realize that DOJ is on to him and will not allow him to use political contributions for his own personal use as he has done before.

Every little bit helps, some billionaire gave him one million. It seems odd to me that even if the fees are 100 million or more, that’s pocket change to a billionaire. Shouldn’t need help from anyone.

Those type of cases cannot be taken on contingency.
