I used to imagine my body parts talking to me like that in water aerobics. (lots of muscle pain) Arms: “ExCUse me! Back off! We are here!” Legs: “What are you doing?!? You’ve only been up an hour!” Thinks like that happen when you’re a lifelong reader of Peanuts.
I’ve always hated jogging. But when I was refereeing soccer I had to jog to stay in shape for all those matches. When I hung up my cleats and put away the whistle and flags I finally got to say farewell to jogging. Now, at 74, it’s not the brain making the decision not to jog, but the feet saying, “no can do, old man.” Is Snoopy getting old?

I remember Peanuts followed a few fads. Tennis and jogging being two I remember. What others do you remember? They don’t have to be sports. (To qualify, it must be more than one or two strips. It has to be several strips stretched over time. )

Those feet aren’t made for walking so that’s what they aren’t going to do.

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”

I remember when the jogging craze was the rage. Compared to other crazes, it isn’t bad. Heck even streaking involves physical exercise.

They got an exercise pill now. No idea how it works.

The “Jogging Is In” design would look good on T-shirts.

Jogging will only get you a knee replacement sooner than later. Walking is fine.
