Cats want a fire. I call the footstool by the fireplace “the cordless melted cat recharging station.”

Yikes! How did the cat get out?

If it walked out, it can walk back.

Arlo’s a good man.

He can always make another trip. Gotta get Luddie into the warm house.

I was expecting Luddie to jump up on top of the wood. I was wrong. There I said it.

Where does it still snow at?

I love Luddie’s smile at the end!

Only had three fires this winter, got tired of going out and getting wood for the fireplace, besides, all four of my chain saws need to be sharpened. Yeah, Lazy, must be my age catching up with me.

2 go out, but only one comes back

Our insurance company told us we can’t have a woodburning stove, and made us prove we took it out. I’m afraid woodburning fireplaces will be next. Our agent told us that in addition to any solid-fuel heating devices, many companies won’t allow 3-tab shingles anymore.

He is in a place that has snow. Few of us do. Not complaining. It was a nice winter.

The important question is why would a smart man put the wood box that far from the house?

Who’s more goofy Arlo or the cat?

Had outside cats and they loved the snow. They lived in my gazebo and had heated beds.

Sweet kitty – how can you resist

Obviously John Smith (fake name lol) does NOT have a cat. As he walks the cat gets colder til he can’t walk anymore. ANY real pet lover (NOT John Smith) knows that and makes sure the cat is safe and warm. If John Smith had a cat ( probably not), he would know that. lol

Soooooo…………….. burn the cat instead?

A choice was made.

Luddie warms your heart and that for years. Way better than a few logs that are gone within maybe two hours.

Yeah… Love comes first…

A kind soul and a cat.

I have a small fence around my porch so I can let my pooch out and she can’t go free. A few times, when I went for the mail, I forgot to close the gate. I turn around and there she is! She followed me to the mailbox!

I there exists “inhumane” then Arlo’s care of Luddy shows us “humane”.

Sweet. An average cat generates 10 watts of heat energy. I keep my close in Winter.

Getting your priorities right…

“I’ve eaten…” I just can’t bring myself to even consider eating cats or dogs, I like them too much. I have eaten alligator, rattlesnake, and gibnut (a large rodent, which I had at a restaurant in Belize about 30 minutes after seeing one down the road at the zoo).

I also had an extremely manly dinner in Quebec City where I had bison, elk and caribou all in the same meal. The indigenous north Canadians are allowed to do a small amount of hunting of caribou for sale to restaurants, to maintain some tribal traditions.
