Panel3: Pivotal and back-lit, as usual. The major characters are talking but not looking at one another. Is it the office lease that they’re talking about or some other, more dramatically significant, contract?
Around that time I was working for a chip company. We expanded and got a few dozen used cubicles from failed dot com companies. We found literature in the drawers from Purple Tie. Anyone remember Purple Tie? They thought everyone would want to manage their dry cleaning online.
We scoffed at them at the time, but in retrospect they were the gig economy decades ahead of their time.
