People, just obey the laws and follow the signs. Yes, I have a tendency to run late myself, but think of the other drivers, and the people who are working on the roads, and be courteous. It is better if we all get to where we are going a little late, than if some of us don’t get there at all.
Safe? Looking at the angle and curvature of the ramp, it might just put a wheel-riding person right on the road crew. Also, without sufficient speed, it may not be enough to carry them far enough to clear the worker(s). [Then again, there is the cartoon physics factor.]
Nevada was pretty tough on enforcing speed limits in construction zones. Once I was stopped for going 5 miles over the limit at night on a stretch of highway without any workers. Now live in southern Arizona where drivers routinely exceed the construction zone speed limit by 10 mph or more, and no one in sight to enforce those limits.

There’s a “Dukes of Hazzard” joke in there somewhere, but I can’t quite come up with one good enough to post.

Where are the cameras and stuff to post his stunt on social media?

When transiting a work zone, keep in mind that moss always grows on the north side of a construction worker’s shovel.

Be interesting to see a lone stone rider trying to get into the by-pass lane loaded with commuter stone cyclists.

Excellent idea! Too many people have no concern for the safety of the road workers.
