I don’t ever remember having burbot (aka, eelpout), but I had freshly boiled lobster when we visited Acadia NP, and was unimpressed. The fish I like the best is fried yellow perch (a Friday night tradition here in Wisconsin), with walleyed pike a close second.

How do you make an eelpout?

Is that an eelpout belt? The latest eelpout handbag?

He who slaughtered the eels with the sword shall reap the wrath of the revenge of the eelpots in the spring! They’ll get you one way or the other! ☺️❤️
