Sunday, my lazy day. I spent the whole day putting together a pergola. EVERY piece on the lower side was wrong. Should have been had a upward angle…the short side is braced up because I can’t make the legs stand straight without crimping the slots to slide the panels in!

Agreed. Except on weekdays.

Garfield has a natural advantage over the average human. Very difficult to compete against him.

Yes, and since we do we need a comfortable bed. A good mattress and pillow. Why do you have such a little uncomfortable bed, Garfield? Why haven’t you stolen Jon’s bed like you’ve stolen everything else of his?

Cause some of us have a life of things to see and do for enjoyment.

At this rate, he’s on pace for 75% of his life to be spent in bed. 24% is spent eating and the last 1% is other, like watching TV, kicking Odie, pranking Jon, etc.

They say that as you get older the years go by faster, that is because you spend fewer hours awake.

I suspect my pet doggie is well past the 50% mark in sleep. She’s sleeping all the time except in the early hours of the morning and whenever I’m in the backyard. Then she seems to think she needs to demonstrate her prowess with her toys. But, as soon as I reenter the house, its back to sleep for Ellie.

I’ve been retired for over 28 years now and I’m still not getting eight hours sleep per night.

Garfield is the expert on laziness.

But you aren’t competing against humans. You’re competing against other cats, who spend half to three-quarters of their lives sleeping.

I spend half my life. Is that good enough?

Nobody can top Garfield when it comes to laziness.

I Put a video on that was 10 hours long and when i woke up the video timer said 4 hours or 6 hours idk

If you’re 60 years old you pulled a Rip Van Winkle and have slept for 20 years. I’m 72 and have probably got around 18 years accumulated.

Garfield is just catching up for those times he got interrupted like for dinner.

Garfield, you’re not a person so it’s not a fair comparison.
